Preamble

InfoTip Service Gesellschaft mbH - hereinafter referred to as InfoTip - as the operator of InfoTip-RTS takes the protection of your private data very seriously. The special consideration of privacy in the processing of personal data is an important concern. Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); InfoTip undertakes to maintain confidentiality. The contained websites may offer links to websites of other providers to which this data protection declaration does not apply. Person related data

Personal data is any information that can be used, directly or indirectly, to identify a natural person's physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity by associating it with an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more special characteristics. This includes information such as real name, address, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address. Information that is not directly associated with the real identity (such as favourite websites or the number of users of a site) is not included.


When and for which purpose InfoTip raises person related data?

Service and repair orders are placed and tracked via the InfoTip RTS portal. For this purpose, the portal only collects the personal data required to guarantee the processing of orders. For this purpose, the recorded data is processed (e.g. for label and document generation) and forwarded to the respective process partners responsible (e.g. workshops, logisticians and manufacturers), and updated status Information from them is stored and processed in the system.


Handling of your personal data

Your personal data will be stored by InfoTip on a specially protected server in Germany. InfoTip will only pass on your personal data to third parties without your express consent, as required for the processing of the repair orders commissioned by you by our service providers.


Usage of Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies for which the user's consent is not required (§ 25 TTDSG). These are small text files with configuration information. They help to determine user-specific settings, implement special user functions and assign the current connection to our system to you. We do not collect any personal data via cookies. All functions of the website can also be used without cookies, but some user-defined properties and settings will then not be available. For this purpose, the setting of cookies by our website can be prevented at any time by means of an appropriate setting of the Internet browser used and thus the setting of cookies can be permanently contradicted. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser. This is possible in all common Internet browsers.


Website encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as your request, which you send to us as a website operator, this website uses SSL encryption. You can recognize this by the fact that the protocol changes from "http://" to "https://" in the address line of the Internet browser and by a lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, it is not possible for the data you transmit to us to be read by third parties.


Contact via the website

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, your details, including the contact data you provide there, will be used exclusively for electronic notification to the responsible employee and will not be passed on or stored without your consent.


Log files on our servers

When using the portal, the web server records your full IP address and other connection information. The server is configured to automatically log the information required for individual identification. Therefore, personal or person-related data can regularly arise on our servers. The IP address, the number of your logins in the portal and the date and time of your last login are stored in detail.


Rights of persons concerned

You have the right to information, the right to correction, the right to cancellation, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data transferability, the right to object and the right to appeal to a supervisory authority with regard to your stored personal data at any time.

  • Right to information
    The right to free information about your stored personal data regarding their origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing including a copy of personal data.
  • Right to correction
    The right to have incorrect personal data corrected or incomplete personal data completed. Generally, you can also make these changes on your own responsibility in our portal.
  • Right to cancellation
    The following aspects apply insofar as no legal basis contradicts them. You may have your personal data deleted in the event that you revoke your consent to lawful processing, object to the processing, in which case the data collected or processed in any other way are no longer required or processing is inadmissible for other legal reasons, initially until final clarification (unless you withdraw your objection by written consent).
  • Right to restriction of processing
    In certain cases you can have the processing of your personal data restricted. These cases can be that you deny the correctness of the personal data, then this restriction applies first for the period which we need around the correctness of the data to check. Another case is that the processing is unlawful, but you do not want it to be deleted but only restricted in use. If you need the data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, you can also refuse the deletion and have its use restricted instead. Processing may also be restricted if you have filed an objection to the processing, but it is not yet clear whether your reasons outweigh our reasons. You may revoke the restriction at any time by giving your written consent.
  • Right to data transferability
    In the event that you wish to receive your personal data that you have stored with us or pass it on to another location, you can view it in the logged in state in your customer account in the "My profile" area, edit it and download it as a structured text file under the menu item "Export my data".
  • Right to object to the processing
    You can object to the creation of user profiles and the processing of your personal data at any time if the processing is based on your prior consent. Unless we have compelling grounds for protection that conflict with your interests, rights and freedoms, we will stop processing after a reasonable period of time for verification. If your personal data is used for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object to such processing at any time.
  • Right to appeal to a supervisory authority
    If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
